PUTTING ZONE and the mechanism of instinct

« There’s no need to be a good golfer to be a good putter, but you need to be good at putting to be a good golfer. »

We are witnessing a revival of the putting because it represents 43 % of our score.

Putting zone teaches you 4 skills to become a good putter.

The putting zone was created after 20 years of research thanks to a combination of the best techniques of the putting history and the evolution of knowledge in modern neuroscience.

A process to acquire the 4 necessary skills to improve at putting.

This program is based on the way our brain understands gravity for this movement to be instinctive.

HERE ARE THE NECESSARY SKILLS TO LEARN THE PUTTING ZONE METHOD:

1-READ THE PUTT:

Use a target point allowing you to get to the hole with the right distance and the right putt line.

2- ALIGN THE FACE OF THE PUTTER WITH YOUR BODY:

Move the face of the club and your body towards your target point.

The club’s position needs to be as neutral as possible with the face of the club 90° perpendicular to the putt line, and the body, shoulders, hips and feet line parallel to the putt line.

3- ROLL THE BALL STRAIGHT TO THE TARGET POINT:

Putt straight towards the target point, aligned with it.

4- CONTROL THE DISTANCE

Putting while controlling the distance is giving to the ball the right speed with to the weight of the putter as well as its impact on the ball to get it to the hole no matter how far it is, with the same final speed to avoid the catastrophe of the return putt.

P.S.: In statistics, Jordan Spieth is one of the players who best controls the distance, which allows him to almost never take 3 putts and to have an average of 27 putts on 18 holes.

The learning process starts with the control of the distance and going back up 4, 3, 2, 1.
